This is Issue #3 — March 2026

Making Learning Visible
In our February update, we shared our progress on the HelloDiscoG Lesson Builder and our mapping to the GCSE Computer Science specifications.
During March, our focus shifted to how we can better support the people delivering that content.
We spent the month building the foundations of our connected dashboards, designed to act as a silent partner for both Senior Leadership Teams (SLT) and classroom teachers.
From data management to instructional insight
We know that Computing Leads and teachers already put significant time into tracking student progress.
The challenge is not intent, it is workload.
Manual data entry, fragmented systems, and constant updates can quickly become an administrative burden, taking time away from planning, teaching, and supporting students.
Our aim is simple.
Remove as much of that manual process as possible, and allow the platform to surface meaningful insight automatically.
Not more data... Better visibility.
A unified ecosystem for the whole school
The work we completed this month focused on building a structure where learning data can be understood at different levels across a school or Multi-Academy Trust (MAT).
Each role requires a different perspective.
The system has been designed to reflect that.
We've built dashboards for:
Technology that respects the profession
This work is not really about dashboards on their own.
It is about making it easier to understand what is actually happening in the classroom, without adding more processes for teachers to manage.
If it’s working as intended, it should sit quietly in the background, supporting decisions rather than interrupting them.
That’s what we’ve been working towards this month, and what we’ll continue refining as we build towards the BETT Show 2027.
What's coming next as we continue to prepare for the Bett Show 2027?
As we continue preparing for the Bett Show 2027, our focus is on two areas:
Internal testing can only take us so far... so just as importantly, we want to start putting HelloDiscoG in front of more teachers.
To build something genuinely useful at school and trust level, we need external feedback from teachers, Computing Leads, and senior leaders working in different contexts.
That feedback will shape how we refine the platform over the coming months.
See you next month 😎
